The CMI is based on the reinforcement of a standard bachelor’s and master’s curriculum, and the rules for progression within a CMI comply with the examination regulations and the methods of knowledge control in force in the establishment holding the bachelor’s and master’s degrees, to which are added specific CMI rules.
The teaching units, whether they make up the bachelor’s or master’s degree support or the CMI supplement, are divided into four training components: the disciplinary base and speciality; core disciplines; related disciplines; and social, economic and cultural openness.
Each of these components must be validated individually. Only annual compensation between teaching units of the same component is allowed.
All courses must be individually validated and are not part of any compensation package.
The non validation of a CMI year does not prevent the possibility of validating the year of the support diploma on which the CMI is based.
The repetition of an CMI year is not allowed.
