Objectives and opportunities

To train engineers in biotechnologies applied to environmental, food and health sciences, with particular attention paid to quality and taking into account the complex relationship “product / process / sustainable development / citizen’s quality of life” in order to understand and develop renewable resources for the production of food, biomolecules and bioproducts.

Life sciences, agri-food and environmental sectors, from the molecular scale to the industrial process: diagnosis and traceability of chemical and biological environments (pollution detection, fight against fraud, …), bio-diagnosis, bio-production, therapeutic innovations.
